Mazak has teamed the lightning-fast HyperGear 2D laser with FMS and OptoPath plant auction technologies that bundle automation for loading, picking, sorting, stacking and scrap removal, to add capacity and increase throughput. Utilization factors of 80-90% are now possible, with far less direct labor cost.
